Original Item. Only One Available. Czech manufactured ZB-37 . During the occupation of Czechoslovakia, Germany continued production of this machinegun and called it MG37(t). It was widely used by the Waffen SS and Polizei formations. The ZB vz Model 1937 was a masterpiece of design and machine work. The tripod alone may be the most complex of the WWII collection and it includes an antiaircraft extension. The anti-aircraft setup allows the gun to be displayed above ground-mount machine guns in a display. The ZB37 so impressed the British authorities that it was copied as the BESA machine gun for use in armored vehicles. The particular display gun has faint waffent amt inspection marks and is in overall spectacular museum quality condition. A genuine WWII German display machine gun perfect for any collection.

Very rare example of original WW2 German Mauser K98 'bnz' manufacture code Fabulous 1944 dated original German K98 Serial No. 3504 manufactured by skilled labour from the Mauthausen-Gusen Concentration Camp. German Gestapo SS, headed by Heinrich Himmler built the infamous Mauthausen-Gusen Concentration Camp in Austria, adjacent to the Stehr factory and set up a rifle assembly line. Using selected skilled labour from the Camp, in an attempt to keep up with the need for weapons, they began producing bnz marked Mauser K-98's for the German Army by late 1940. The bnz code was an attempt to conceal the source of the rifle. The bnz rifles were of superior quality, because fearing sabotage, the Gestapo SS imposed extraordinary quality control measures. The bnz K98's were manufactured between 1940 - 1944. The US 8th, 9th and 15th Army Special Forces put an end to this production towards the end of 1944. This is a rare Collector's piece and has a clear Hitler Eagle Stamp with Swastika and WA Stamp on the receiver. Wood work and metalwork in great condition.
